KS4 Headlines 2024

  • Well above national and local averages across nearly every headline measure.  

  • Students made half a grade more progress at Wolgarston than nationally – although the exact progress score will be confirmed when results tables are released later in the autumn 

  • Our average grade is a 5, at least half a grade above national average 

  • 73% of students achieved a grade 4 (standard pass) in English and Maths (63% nationally) 

  • 51% of students achieved a grade 5 (or good pass) in English and Maths (45% nationally) 

KS5 Headlines 2024

  • Overall average A Level grade is a B and value added +0.39 (well above average). . This surpasses national and regional averages.  

  • 32% of students achieved at least AAB in at least 2 facilitating subjects (English, Maths, Sciences etc.) 

  • 33% of the A-Level grades achieved were A or A* grades. This exceeds the national average of 27%.   

  • 100% of students passed Level 3 vocational qualifications in Business, Sport and Health and Social care 

Summer 2024 Data

KS5 data is now validated and another set of excellent examination results for Wolgarston, placing us second in the county.
